Sister M. Baptist CSC, 77, diied in St. Mary’s Convent Tuesday evening. Born Aug. 20, 1893, in Lancaster, Pa. as Magdalen Sabinash, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s in 1909, and professed her vows in 1911. She taught in St. Joseph Academy and St. Mary’s School, both in South Bend coming to St. Mary’s Convent in 1969.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Loretto Church with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call today and until services, in the convent parlors, where a rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. today.
