5, 1915 - Dec. 1, 2009SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Hilja Saar, 94, Bogart, Ga. passed away December 1, 2009 at her home in Bogart Georgia. She was born August 5, 1915 in Tallinn, Estonia. She has lived in four different countries in her life and worked at Acoustic Audio in South Bend Indiana from 1959 and retired at the age of 91. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind words, quick wit and loving heart. She will be missed by all that knew her. Hilja is survived by her husband, Leo Saar, sons and daughters in law, Mart and Margaret Saar, daughter and son in law, Lenna and Kent Johnston and granddaughters Julie DeCraene and Kristin Johnston. A memorial mass will be held Saturday Dec. 5, 2009 at 10:00 at UGA Catholic Center with Father Thomas Vigliotta officiating. The Family will receive friends after the service.
