SOUTH BEND - Jeannette L. (Lauer) Rzeszewski, 69, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2007, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

Jeannette was born in South Bend to the late Charles M. and Clara R. (Bentkowski) Lauer. On July 9, 1960, she married John V. Rzeszewski in St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr by Fr. K.C. Garbacz.

She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, John (Patricia) and Richard; three grandsons, Nathan, Jonathon and Jacob; her brother, Charles E. Lauer; five nieces and seven nephews.

Jeannette retired in 2002 from the Milton Home as supervising housekeeper.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 10, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2007, in St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Catholic Church.
