Mrs. Vertia Rynearson

February 25, 1887 – November 30, 1955

Mrs. Vertia Rynearson, 5305 W. Bulla Rd., died at 6:30am today in her residence after a year’s illness. 

She was born in North Liberty February 25, 1887, and lived most of her life here.  She was the widow of Frank Rynearson who died in 1953.  Surviving are three sons, Carl, Earl and Lloyd of South Bend; six daughters, Mrs. Betty Hermann and Mrs. Marie Hooten, South Bend; Mrs. Gladys Myers, Mishawaka; Mrs. Thelma Farkas, Dowagiac MI, Mrs. Garnett Utley, Crown Point IN, and Mrs. Marvel Crill, Phoenix AZ; two brothers, Glen Rickey, North Liberty and Claude Rickey, Clearwater FL; a sister, Mrs. Edith Rynearson, Auburn IN; 28 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7pm Thursday in the Hollis Funeral Home.  The funeral will take place at 2pm Saturday in Christ Temple.  Rev. Ray Jones, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Sumption Prairie Cemetery.
