SOUTH BEND - Ronald G. Rynearson, 61,
of South Bend, passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 18,
2007, in his home after a brief illness. Ron was born on October
11, 1945, in South Bend, to the late Earl H. and Evelyn A. (Mahler)
Rynearson Sr. He was a lifelong resident of South Bend.
On January 7, 1989, in South Bend, he
married the former Barbara Palmer, who survives. Along with his
wife, Barbara, survivors include three daughters, Debbie (Ken) Frick
of Granger, Shannon (Kenny) Gadacz of South Bend, and
Jackie Rynearson of South Bend; two sons, Thomas Searer of
South Bend and Jeffrey Searer of South Bend; 10 grandchildren,
Anthony, Ryan, Lindsey, Zachary, Samantha, Shelby, Jasmine,
Thomas, Lucas, and Alexis; one great-granddaughter, Haley; one
sister, Kathleen Davis of South Bend; and one brother,
Earl Rynearson Jr. of Elkhart. Ron was employed at Highland
Cemetery, South Bend, for 43 years. He served his country with
the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of
the VFW in South Bend.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
on Wednesday, August 22, 2007, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River
Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. Don Francis will
officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on
Tuesday, August 21 in the funeral home. Cremation will follow the
services at Southlawn Cremation Services, South Bend.
