MISHAWAKA - Helen E. Ryll, 85, of Lincoln Way East, died at 10:34 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Ryll was born June 23, 1908, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

In 1928, in South Bend, as Helen Petzke, she married Ertman Ryll. He died Sept. 6, 1963. She is survived by a daughter, Arlene Stamm of Mishawaka; two sons, Paul of Edwardsburg and Robert of South Bend; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church, South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Hahn Funeral Home.
