Funeral services for Sister M. Charity CSC, born Ellen Ryan, 81, were held this morning in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at St. Mary’s. Burial was in the community cemetery on the campus.

She died Thursday in the infirmary there, having been ill for six months with a heart aliment. She was born in Ireland Aug. 16, 1862 and was professed to the order in 1895.
