Sister M. Augustin CSC, 55, died in the St. Mary’s infirmary Friday morning. Born Margaret Ryan, in Chicago, July 21, 1889, she had been a community member for the last 33 years, and was a former teacher in St. Theodore School in Chicago. Survivors include a sister, Sister Frances Paula CSC, of St. Mary’s; and a brother, Rev. John M. Ryan CSC, of the University of Notre Dame.

Requiem mass was celebrated by her brother, Rev. Ryan, Saturday morning in the chapel of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in the community cemetery at 2 p.m. today.
