Sister Mary Thaddeus CSC, 58, died Sunday evening in St. Mary’s Convent after an extend illness. She was born on Dec. 14, 1913 in Elizabethtown NY, and as Mary Elizabeth Ryan she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on June 18, 1932 coming from Rupert, Idaho. She made her profession of vows Jan. 6, 1935. She taught in elementary and secondary schools in Utah, and Idaho.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call in the convent parlor, where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today.
