Dana Aileen (Dickey) Ruth, 26, of
Utica, Kentucky, formerly of Mishawaka, passed away on Wednesday,
July 19, 2006, in her residence.
Dana was born on April 5, 1980, to Robert
and Frances (Ickes) Ruth in Mishawaka, Indiana. Dana is
survived by her parents, along with her two precious children,
Darin, age 4, and Deanna Dickey, age 3, of Utica,
Kentucky. She is also survived by a brother, Dave DeMaegd
of South Bend, IN; a sister, Denise (Joe) Ziegler of South
Bend, IN; a nephew, Aidan Ziegler; two nieces, Allison and Olivia
Ziegler of South Bend; and her maternal grandmother, Mary O'Connor
of South Bend. Dana was preceded in death by her maternal
grandfather, Richard O'Connor, who passed away in 1992, and by
her paternal grandmother, Mildred Truran, who passed away
in 1995.
Dana graduated from Penn High School in
1998. She attended college for one year. Dana was formerly
employed as a bank teller at the Notre Dame Federal Credit Union
for five years, and the Target Super Store in Mishawaka until she
moved to Kentucky. She was an avid Notre Dame football follower,
and a big fan of NASCAR racing driver Jimmy Johnson, #48.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 8
p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2006, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910
N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. The funeral service will be at 1:00
p.m. Tuesday, July 25th, with visitation two hours prior in the
funeral chapel, the burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in
Mishawaka, IN. Dana will be deeply missed by all who truly loved
her.
