An attractive teen age girl who was baby sitting was stabbed to death at about 6 p.m. Saturday. The dead girl was identified as Pamela Ruscio, 18, and resided at 1401 E. Miner Street. She was stabbed in the chest during an argument at an apartment building at 528 E. Washington. Miss Ruscio was found face up in a second floor apartment in the building which houses three families. She was baby sitting for a family.

Her body was found just inside a bedroom along the back side of the house. Witnesses said her clothes were soaked with blood and puddles of blood were visible on the floor. Clothes, baby food, and other items were strewn about in the apartment, witnesses said. Items in the adjoining liver area were knocked to the floor. According to one of the tenants, she heard Miss Ruscio and another woman arguing.

Dr. F. Dale Nelson, deputy county coroner, attributed Miss Ruscio’s death to knife wounds. One would pierced the girl’s heart, according to the coroner.
