An attractive teen age girl who was baby
sitting was stabbed to death at about 6 p.m. Saturday. The dead
girl was identified as Pamela Ruscio, 18, and resided at
1401 E. Miner Street. She was stabbed in the chest during an
argument at an apartment building at 528 E. Washington. Miss
Ruscio was found face up in a second floor apartment in the
building which houses three families. She was baby sitting for a
family.
Her body was found just inside a bedroom
along the back side of the house. Witnesses said her clothes were
soaked with blood and puddles of blood were visible on the floor.
Clothes, baby food, and other items were strewn about in the
apartment, witnesses said. Items in the adjoining liver area were
knocked to the floor. According to one of the tenants, she heard
Miss Ruscio and another woman arguing.
Dr. F. Dale Nelson, deputy county coroner,
attributed Miss Ruscios death to knife wounds. One would
pierced the girls heart, according to the coroner.
