SOUTH BEND - James M. Rupert, 28, of Clairmont Drive, died at 5:59 a.m. Saturday in Elkhart General Hospital. Dr. James McMeel, St. Joseph County coroner, is investigating the death. Mr. Rupert was born Feb. 16, 1966, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by his mother, Kathy Rupert of South Bend; a sister, Theresa Rupert of South Bend; and two brothers, Ron and Tim, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 8 p.m. Monday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before services in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
