WALKERTON - Fannie B. Rupel, 85, of
Hubbard Hill Estates, Elkhart, formerly of Walkerton, died
at 5:25 a.m. Saturday in the nursing home.
Mrs. Rupel was born Sept. 28, 1909,
in Walkerton. On Jan. 2, 1932, in Walkerton, as Fannie B. Nash,
she married Keith Matz Rupel. He died Sept. 15, 1980. She is
survived by a daughter, Martha Sue Abbott of Granger; a son, Paul
E. of Walkerton; two grandchildren; and a sister, Zelma R.
Pomeroy of Fort Wayne. A grandchild preceded her in death. She
was a member of Tyner Rebekah Lodge 865 and was a former Sunday
school teacher and member of United Missionary Women, both of Tyner
United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m.
Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in
Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, where Rebekah Lodge 865 will conduct
memorial services at 7 p.m., and one hour before services

the church or Hubbard Hill Estates Inc.
