SOUTH BEND – Services for Vito Rulli, 81, of 1033 N. Wilbur, who died Saturday in St. Joseph Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

He was owner-operator of Vito’s Barber Shop for 54 years, retiring in 1975. He was born Dec. 15, 1899 in Gerace, Italy, and had lived her since 1921 coming from Italy. On Jan. 7, 1927 in Italy, he married Teresa LaRosa, who survives, along with three sons, Tony and Felix of South Bend and Jim of Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters both in Italy; and a brother Rosario of South Bend.
