Mrs. Hazel I.
Hawley Ruff, 76, of 521 Gladstone Ave., died at 12:30pmWednesday
in Osteopathic Hospital after a six month illness.
Born December 23,
1893, in Tyner IN, she resided here 41 years coming from Tyner.
In 1915 in Tyner she was married to Harry Hawley, who died in
1937. In 1958 she was married to Arthur Ruff, who died in
1963. She is survived by two sons, Robert H. Hawley of South
Bend and Howard H. Hawley of Bremen; a daughter, Mrs. Einar
Olson, of South Bend; eight grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
Friends may call in the Forest G. Hay & Son Funeral Home
from 7 to 9pm today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday and until noon
Saturday, when the body will be taken to the Central United Methodist
Church for services at 1:30pm. Rev. Thomas C. Rough,
pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery,
Tyner. Mrs. Ruff was a member of the Central United Methodist
Church.
