SOUTH BEND - Josephine M. Rudynski, 82, of Canterbury Drive, died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Rudynski was born Aug. 27, 1912, in Chicago and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On June 9, 1934, in South Bend, as Josephine Rozewicz, she married Edward Rudynski. He survives with a daughter, Janice E. Harding of South Bend; a son, Raymond E. of South Bend; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Nowatka and Gladys Kurdys, both of South Bend; and a brother, Joseph Rozewicz of South Bend. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Services will be at noon Saturday in the church. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, where a parish vigil will be at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
