Virginia C. Rudlaff

June 15, 1911 – July 5, 1984

Virginia C. Rudlaff, 73, of 1307 E Fourth St., died about 11:20am Wednesday in St Joseph Hospital after an illness.  Born June 15, 1911, in Mooresville IN, she had spent most her life in this area, coming from Mooresville.  She retired from Golden Age Manor in 1970.  On June 6, 1936, in Berrien Springs, as Virginia Housand, she married Gustav M. Rudlaff, who died in 1982.  Surviving are a son, Joseph M. of Mishawaka; two grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Stoehr of Mishawaka and Mardel Woolf of Coloma; and two brothers, John Housand of Mishawaka and Herald Housand of Buchanan.

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel.  Mrs. Rudlaff was a member of ST Peter Lutheran Church in Mishawaka, the church’s Altar Guild Society, the Diloreto Club, the Retirees Association of Wheelabrator-Frye Inc. and the Mishawaka-PennTwp Democratic Women’s Club.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St Peter building fund or the hospice society.
