SOUTH BEND - George Roy, 83, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Monday in Walker Memorial Medical Center, Sebring. Mr. Roy was an assembler for Wheelabrator Corp., Mishawaka. He was born April 22, 1910, in South Bend, and lived in this area most of his life.

He married Elsie F. Senimore. She survives, with a brother, Arthur of Phoenix, Ariz., and a niece, Vera Vollbracht of Vero Beach, Fla.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Stephenson-Nelson Chapel, Sebring. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Sebring. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Christian Church Building Fund of Sebring.
