S. Edward Royce, 59, of 1313 Redbird Court, Kokomo, formerly of South Bend, died Sunday at Howard Community Hospital, Kokomo, following a lengthy illness.  He was born April 22, 1913, in Van Wert, Ohio, and had lived in Kokomo since 1955, moving from South Bend.  He was an employee of Delco -- Remy in Kokomo.  In 1938 he married Jeanne Gray.  She survives with a son, Philip E., at home, three daughters, Mrs. William Flint of Spencer, Wisconsin, Miss Marjorie and Miss Patricia, both at home; two brothers, Peter Thomas of Osceola, and Marion of Mesa City, Arizona; a sister, Mrs. Everett Wise, of Mishawaka, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 9 AM Wednesday in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Kokomo, with Rev. John Mannion officiating.  Friends may call from 4 to 9 PM, Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary in Kokomo where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM, Tuesday.  Burial will be Sunset Garden Cemetery.  Kokomo
