Sister Mary Anton CSC, died in the convent at St. Mary’s College at 7:30 p.m. Thursday after an extended illness. She was born Bertha Roth in Lancaster, Pa., in 1884. She entered the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1906, and received the habit the same year. She made her profession of final vows in 1913. During her community life she was stationed in Baltimore and Washington DC, and had spent many years at St. Mary’s’ Convent here.

Burial will be at 1:15 p.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St. Mary’s. Friend may call in the convent parlor.
