Sister Katharina Roth CSC, 66, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday in the convent. She was born April, 24, 1903 in Gailbach, Germany; and in 1922 she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross; received the holy habit in 1923; and made her profession of vows in 1925. She had been assigned to convents in California, Idaho and Utah and came to St. Mary’s in 1969.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Our Lady of Loretto on St. Mary’s Campus, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in the convent parlor.
