MISHAWAKA - Robert J. Roth Sr., 76, of 431 W. Lawrence St., died at 2 p.m. Sunday in Countryside Place after an illness. Mr. Roth retired in 1975 from South Bend Freight after 20 years of service. He was born March 17, 1918, in Fort Wayne and lived in Mishawaka most of his life.

In 1938, in Mishawaka, he married Thelma Gibson. She died in 1983. On April 6, 1985, in Mishawaka, he married Lois J. Radabaugh. She survives with a son, Robert J. Jr. of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald W. of Mishawaka.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
