Richard L. Ross

July 30, 1903 – February 2, 1958

Richard L. Ross, 1913 W. Orange St., died at 12:30am Sunday in St Joseph Hospital after an illness of several months.

He was born in Amory MS, July 30, 1903, and had lived in South Bend since 1944, coming here from Gary. In March 1946, in Battle Creek MI, he married Mrs. Bessie Patton, who survives.  Also surviving are his parents, Mr & Mrs James Ross of Amory; and a sister, Mrs. Annabelle Hunt, of South Bend.

Friends may call after 3pm today in the Haynes Funeral Home where services will be held at 1pm Tuesday.  Rev. Earl Peterson, pastor of Grace African Methodist Episcopal Church, will officiate and burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
