Patricia Ann (Harkin) Rosander, 71,
of South Bend, passed away at 10:25 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2006,
in the Emergency Room of Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center,
South Bend. Mrs. Rosander was born in South Bend to Marvin and
Gladys (Callentine) Harkin on July 25, 1934.
Paticia married Roland D. "Pa
Rosie" Rosander Sr. on January 30, 1953, in South Bend. He
passed away on December 5, 2002. Surviving are her three
children, Deb Rosander, Terry Caron and Roland D.
"Ronnie" (Linda) Rosander; three grandchildren, Kona Works,
Robert Caron III, Dawn Smith, and two great-grandchildren,
Robert Caron IV, and Lexy Balok, all of South Bend. She is also
survived by a sister, Dorcus Peavey of Goshen, IN, and a
brother Kenny (Rita) Harkin of Mishawaka, IN. Pat loved to gamble
and play the slots at the casinos as well as play cards with her
friends on Saturdays. She worked for the University of Notre Dame
for 26 years, and retired in 1996 from St. Michael's Laundry.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m., on
Wednesday, May 24, 2006, in McGann Hay, Morning Star Funerals
& Cremations, 21275 West Cleveland Road, enter on Shellbark
Avenue, South Bend.
