Cecelia H. (Sokolowski) Rorer, 87, of White Oak Drive, Mishawaka, Ind., died on Monday morning, March 12, in the Countryside Place Rehabilitation Center, Mishawaka. Cecelia worked for Wilson Brothers, the Studebaker Corporation, and Robertson's Department Store for 13 years. She was born on Oct. 13, 1913, in South Bend, Ind., to Frank and Mary (Wroblewski) Sokolowski, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Bernice Nemes and Helen Syzmanski.
In September 1954 she married Arthur L. Rorer, who died on Oct. 12, 1976. Surviving are several cousins and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. today, March 14, in St. Monica Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. today in the HICKEY Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson. Cecelia was a member of St. Monica's Church and the Rosary Society. Memorials may be made to St. Monica's.
