Henrietta Roose

Oct. 19, 1919 - Feb. 25, 2000

Henrietta Roose, age 80, of S. Sheridan Ave., South Bend, died at 1:30 a.m., Friday, in her residence.

She was born October 19, 1919, in South Bend, and was a life long area resident. Mrs. Roose retired from Koszegi Industries Inc. after 18 years of service.

On July 28, 1945, in Goshen, Ind., as Henrietta Jaronik, she married Willard Roose, who preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1980. She is survived by a daughter, Veronica "Roni" (Steve) Farkas, and a son Edward J. Roose and his significant other, Jeffery Etoll, both of South Bend, three grandchildren, Sherry (Manseil) Washburn of South Bend, Tracey (Bryan) Fox of Osceola, Ind., and Troy Farkas of Granger, Ind., and three great grandchildren, Taylore Marie, Devyn and Justyn Fox.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, in St. Mary Polish National Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

She can finally hear the angels sing, what was denied in life was given to her in death.
