Louis Ronconi

MISHAWAKA - After an illness of two years Louis Ronconi, 79, of 307 W. 12th Street, died at 3:45 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital. Mr. Ronconi was born in Castel Arquato, Piacenza, Italy, and came to Mishawaka 25 years ago from Blanford, Ind.

He married Adele Vailanti in Terre Haute, Ind. Nov, 24, 1910. Surviving are his widow; one son Ronalto A. Ronconi of Mishawaka; two daughters, Mrs. William J. Tusing and Mrs. James M. Miller, of South Bend; one step-son Louis Elmo of Mishawaka and four grandchildren. Mr. Ronconi was an honorary member of the Di Amecis Club.

Friends may call at the DeVos Chapel after 7 p.m. today and until the funeral services at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Bavo’s Catholic Church. Rev. Otto J. Keller, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel.

Editor: He was preceded in death by a son Hector, who died 6-26-1952.
