 James C. Romine, of 527 Blaine avenue, died in his residence Friday night of a heart attack. He was born in Missouri and had resided in South Bend since early childhood. In 1908 he was married in South Bend to Blanche Brown, who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Elizabeth; two brothers, C.W. Romine and O.S. Romine, both of South Bend, and a sister, Mrs. E.E. Horepool, of Oakland, Calif. Friends may call in the Orivs funeral home until funeral services Monday afternoon. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
