SOUTH BEND - Ethan L. Romine, 47, of South Bend, IN, passed away Monday morning, January 11, 2010, in his home. He was born on August 6, 1962, and raised by his parents, Otis and Joan (Burmeister) Romine, who preceded him in death. Ethan is survived by his companion of five years, Molly Morse of South Bend; five cousins, James M. (Nevah) Krillenberger, Jeanne Carter, Ann (Brian) Shea, William John (Leanne) Krillenberger and Mary Bezi; and his uncle, Woodward Romine of Smithport, MD. Ethan was a 1981 graduate of St. Joseph High School, South Bend. He enjoyed playing hockey in high school and college. Ethan attended Holy Cross, South Bend, Indiana University South Bend, and the University of Wisconsin in River Falls, Wisconsin. Funeral services for Ethan will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, January 17, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Ed Erskin, pastor of Northway Church of Christ, will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM Sunday until time of services.
