 Romine-Word has been received here of the May 21 death of Mrs. Blanche B. Romine, 87, who lived with her daughter, Mrs. Arthur I. Morse, Oakland, Calif. Mrs. Romine retired in 1958 after teaching in the South Bend schools for 40 years. Besides her daughter she is survived by a grandson, James G. Weagant, a student at the University of Pavia, Italy. Memorial services were held Friday, May 24, in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Oakland. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Memorial Methodist Church, South Bend, of which Mrs. Romine was a member.
