MISHAWAKA - Mary Romeo, 85, of Fountainview Nursing Home, died Saturday afternoon in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, following an extended illness. Born Oct. 27, 1897 in Italy, she came to Mishawaka from Italy in 1921. In 1921 she married Frank Romeo in Plati, Italy. He died in 1948. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs Betty Hass of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two sons, Frank D. of Mishawaka, and Don of Hobart, Ind.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends mall call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 A.M. Tuesday in St. Monica’s Catholic Church and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
