SOUTH BEND - Michael Rojics, 69, of Whitcomb Avenue, died at 3:35 a.m. today in his home after an illness. Mr. Rojics retired in 1987 from Bendix Corp. He was born March 4, 1924, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

In 1943, in South Bend, he married Mary Chonody. She survives with three daughters, Mary Ann Johnson and Sharon Sanders, both of Port Huron, Mich., and Judy Fletcher of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; four sisters, Helen McClain, Irene Hornyak and Margaret McIntyre, all of South Bend, and Betty Houghton of Mishawaka; and two brothers, George of South Bend and Steve of Marion, Ind. He was a member of Calvary Temple.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
