SOUTH BEND - Mary E. Rohrbaugh, 80, of Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal, died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Rohrbaugh retired from St. Joseph Hospital, Port Chalotte, Fla., as a nurses aide.

She was born July 2, 1915, in South Bend. On Aug. 19, 1934, in South Bend, as Mary E. Bauer, she married Chester O. Rohrbaugh. He died in 1977. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Neill of South Bend; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial will be at a later date. The body was donated to the Indiana University Anatomical Board, Indianapolis. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association).
