Mary E. Rohleder, 76, of South Bend, Ind., died Saturday, Dec. 22, in the Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Feb. 11, 1925, in South Bend, to the late Edward C. and Amanda Yena.

On April 17, 1953, she married Paul G. Rohleder, who preceded her in 1993. She is survived by her children, Carolyn A. (Brian) Straup of Austin, Texas, and Michael P. (Gail) Rohleder of South Bend; and by three grandchildren, Robin G. Rohleder, Bradly and Andrew Straup.

Mrs. Rohleder was a graduate of Epworth School of Nursing and continued to work for the hospital until her retirement in 1986. Mary attended Ridgedale Presbyterian Church and belonged to the Memorial Hospital Retirees Club.

There will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place in Michiana Crematory. Burial will be at Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Hospital Health Foundation. The Welsheimer Funeral Home assisted the family in their arrangements.
