Orville Rogers

June 22, 1905 – May 17, 1965

Orville M. Rogers, 59, of 622 W Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, proprietor of Don’s Restaurant, 2208 Mishawaka Avenue, died at 6am today in Parkview Hospital, Plymouth.  He had been ill since 1959.  Born in Jasonville IN on June 22, 1905, he had resided in South Bend since 1925.

On October 26, 1922 in Green County IN, he married Mary Roberta Leigh, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Hammann of Mishawaka and Mrs. Don Ham of San Jose CA; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Byron Spohn, of Cleveland OH.  Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the Hollis Funeral Home.
