Obituary: Mary Ann Roemer

Oct. 27, 1927 -- Dec. 20, 2003

Mary Ann (Doran) Roemer, 76, of Cuperteno, Calif., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died on Saturday, Dec. 20, in her home.

On April 30, 1949, she married Joseph E. Roemer, who preceded her in death on June 15, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents, M. Edward and Edna Doran; two sons, James and Thomas; a granddaughter, Iris Roemer; and a brother, James Doran.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Summons; a son, John (Monica); a son, Joseph (Maggie); eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all from California. Other survivors include a twin brother, John E. Doran; and two sisters, Margaret Rose Walter and Marilyn Dennig from South Bend. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

San Jose Neptune Society handled arrangements.
