MISHAWAKA - Noel A. ''Louie'' Roelandts, 84, of Eighth Street, died at 3:10 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Community Hospital after an illness.
Mr. Roelandts retired in 1973 from Uniroyal's PT Lab after 45 years of service.
He was born Sept. 13, 1911, in Mishawaka. On Oct. 10, 1936, in Mishawaka, he married Edith Clementi. She survives with two sisters, Elsie Fowler of Mishawaka and Germaine Pletcher of Niles; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church, B.K. Club, DeAmicis Club, Eagles 225, Uniroyal Retirees Club, Mishawaka Homing Pigeon Club, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 155, B.K. Footballers, and Notre Dame Quarterback Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Hahn Funeral Home, where a wake will be at 3:45 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bavo's School or the church.
