MISHAWAKA - Mrs. Theophiel Rodts, 60, of 419 W. 10^th Street, died of a heart ailment Sunday evening in St. Joseph Hospital. She was a resident of Mishawaka for 32 years and had been ill for two weeks. She was born in Aardenburg, Holland and came to this city from Charlotte, Mich. in 1922 .

She was Mrs Louis Mattens until her marriage to Mr. Rodts on Dec. 3, 1950. Survivors besides her husband invlude one son, Robert A. Verstring of South Bend; and three brothers and two sisters, all of Holland. She also leaves three step-sons; August Rodts, Homer Rodts and Alfred Rodts; and one step-daughter, Mrs. Raymond Nierynck, all of South Bend.

Friends may call at the DeVos Funeral Chapel, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bavo’s Catholic Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
