MISHAWAKA - Philip R. Rodts, 49, of
Rockford, Mich., formerly of Mishawaka, died in his home Monday
of an illness. He was a self employed farmer. He was born Sept.
19, 1943, in Mishawaka.
On May 14, 1966, he married Susanne Arata,
She survives with a daughter, Wendy Rodts of Rockford; four sons,
Dale of Belding, Mich., Kurt of Holland, Mich., and Keith and
Jeremy, both of Rockford; a granddaughter; his parents, Irene and
Maurice Rodts, of Mishawaka; two sisters, Joyce Biesbrouck
of Mishawaka and Barbara Roberts of Elkhart; and two
brothers, Stephen of Mishawaka and Daniel of Niles.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Parnell, Ill. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday in Pederson Funeral Home in Rockford.
