MISHAWAKA - Elizabeth K. “Betty” Rodts, 75, of West Eighth Street, died Sunday morning in St. Joseph Hospital after an illness. She was born Aug. 12, 1917 in South Bend and was a life long area resident. She retired from Allied-Signal in South Bend after 41 years of service.

On Oct. 4, 1941 in Mishawaka, as Elizabeth Koppy, she married she married Adolph C. “Red” Rodts. He survives with two sons, Michael A. of Mishawaka, and Adolph E. of Mishawaka; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters Anna Golata and Pauline Frithe, both of South Bend, and a brother, John Koppy of Edwardsburg.

Services will be at10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bavo’s Catholic Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Friends mnay call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Hahn Funeral home, where a wake will be at 3:30 p.m.
