SOUTH BEND - Vernon LeRoy Rodgers, 74, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Saturday in his home of natural causes.
Mr. Rodgers was a former manager of Home Plumbing & Heating Co., Mishawaka. He was born Oct. 5, 1920, in Hunt City, Ill.
He is survived by his wife, Doris (Colbert) Rodgers of Tampa; and three sisters, Ginger McLaughlin of California, Betty Morrison of South Bend and Donna Legan of Port Charlotte, Fla. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Private family services were held. Entombment was in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Brandon, Fla. Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon, handled arrangements.
