SOUTH BEND - Myrtle F. Robison, 92, of Francis Street in
South Bend passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007, in Healthwin
Specialized Care Facility of natural causes. Myrtle was born
January 1, 1915, in Montpelier, Indiana to William and Mable (Cox)
Matson.
On February 29, 1936, Myrtle was united in
marriage to Mr. Clyde L. Robison in Muncie, Indiana. Clyde
preceded Myrtle in death, passing away August 9, 1976. Survivors
include her sons, James W. Robison, Larry C. (Patricia) Robison,
and Gary A. Robison, all of South Bend; and a daughter, Barbara
Sue Born of Mishawaka. Also surviving is her brother,
Raymond Matson; and her sister, Ruth Geiger; 11
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents; and two sisters, Clysta Lloyd and Kathryn
"Kate" Tait.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 8, 2007, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home in
Osceola, where friends may call 2 hours prior to service.
Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Myrtle was employed by the Uniroyal
Corporation in Mishawaka for 33 years before her retirement. In
her spare time, Myrtle enjoyed traveling with her husband,
crocheting, working needlepoint and playing BINGO. She was also a
very generous and loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
