Aug. 9, 1917 - April 28, 2010OSCEOLA - Charles E. Robison, 92, of Osceola, passed away at 3:05 pm, Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Golden Living Center, Elkhart. Charles was born on August 9, 1917 in Mishawaka to the late Rosco and Florence Rush. On December 11, 1943, he married Dorothy McCormack. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Dorothy; their three children, Linda Arata of Elkhart, Judy and Michael Pitts of Strawn, TX and Charles E. and Janet Robison, Jr., of Osceola and by four foster children, Vicki Bevens, Phyllis Ann Wagner, Carroll Conklin and Baby Karen. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister, Grace Hartz and a granddaughter. Charles worked at Uniroyal for 41 years & 8 monts of service before he retired . He was an active member of the Osceola Church of the Brethren. He will be remembered for his love of family, playing basketball and fishing. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 pm, Sunday, May 2, 2010 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, May 3, 2010 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
