MISHAWAKA - Grady E. Roberson, 88, died at 12:07 p.m.
Saturday, August 9, 2008, in the Golden Living Center, Mishawaka.
Grady was born on May 13, 1920, in Wayne County, TN, to Nathan
and Mary (Holt) Roberson. Grady served in the U.S. Army
during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1945. He
retired from Dodge Manufacturing. He was past president of Steel
Workers Local #1191, was a member of VFW Post #360 Mishawaka,
D.A.V. #19, the Dodge Athletic Association and Moose Lodge #741
in Plymouth, IN. His sister, Lila Reatherford of
Mishawaka, IN, survives Grady. He was preceded in death by his
parents; a brother, Boone Roberson; half brothers, Ulys and
Carmel Lawson, Will, Jake, Joe and Carroll Roberson; and a
stepbrother, Cecil Reaves.
Funeral services for Grady will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where visitation for Grady will also be on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Jay Winter will officiate the funeral services, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
