MISHAWAKA - Dean W. Rininger, 63, of
4059 Cottage Ave., died at 12:55 a.m. Saturday in his home after
an illness. Mr. Rininger was the assistant body-shop manager at
Gates Town & Country Chevrolet. He was born Dec. 10, 1930, in
South Bend, and was a lifelong resident.
On July 28, 1962, in South Bend, he married
Frances M. Summers. She survives with four daughters, Toni
Macon of Freeport, Texas, Terri O'Reilly-Nixon and
Shelli Pickett, both of Mishawaka, and Staci Smith
of Niles; a son, Carl Dean of Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren; one
great-grandchild; and three brothers, Donald of Donaldson, and
Charles and Edward, both of South Bend. He was a member of the
Fraternal Order of the Eagles 2083 of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the
Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., South Bend. Burial
will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call
from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial
contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
