Brother Romanus Ricgwelski CSC, 74,
of Holy Cross Brothers Center, died in his house about 7 a.m.
today. He was born on Jan. 31, 1903 in Little Falls, Minn. He
taught school and was school librarian in Chicago; Indianapolis;
Albany, NY; South Bend; Notre Dame; Cleveland, Ohio; and River
Grove, Ill. He retired in 1973. He entered the Holy Cross
Brothers on March 11, 1930, and made his profession of vows on
July 2, 1931. Survivors include a sister, Sister Constance
Ringwelski OSB, of St. Cloud, Minn.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday in
Holy Cross Brothers Center at Holy Cross Junior College. A wake
will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of St. Joseph at the
Brothers Center. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the
chapel with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery on the campus.
