Fred Rinard

1885 - May 12, 1963

Fred Rinard, 78, of 1202 1/2 W. 7th St., who had lived here most of his life, died unexpectedly at 9:4am Sunday in St Joseph's Hospital of a heart attack.  He had been ill one day.

He was born at Bloomingdale MI, and moved here at an early age.  Mr. Rinard was married to Mrs. Augusta Buysse in Goshen January 13, 1951.  Besides the widow, he is survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs. Marge Kaminski, of Crumstown; two stepsons, Charles Van Tornhout of St Petersburg FL and Edmond Van Tornhout of South Bend; two step daughters, Mrs. Margaret Jefferson, of Watertown WI and Mrs. Erma Rybak, of South Bend; and 12 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the DeVos Chapel where funeral services will be held at 10am Wednesday.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Mr. Rinard was a retired bricklayer.

Pallbearers for Fred Rinard, 78, of 1202 1/2 W 7th St., who died Sunday, will be Norman & Duance Radican, William Griffis Jr. Ronald Van Tornhout, James Stack and Jerry Pauwels.

Funeral services will be at 10am Wednesday in the DeVos Chapel and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Rev. Stephen Cvaniga of St Bavo's Church will officiate.  Friends may call in the funeral chapel.
