Fred Lee Riley, 66, of Evergreen
Lane, South Bend, Ind., died at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10,
in his residence. He was born on June 15, 1931, in South Bend,
and lived in this area all of his life. Mr. Riley retired in 1994
from Transpo.
He was married on Jan. 17, 1959, to Mickey
Humphrey, who survives. He is also survived by three daughters,
Rene Plew, Vickie Burnham and Dawn (Dan) Thompson,
all of South Bend; two sons, Timothy Riley of South Bend, Thomas
Riley of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; seven grandchildren; six sisters,
Violet Englemeyer and Shirley Henry, both of South
Bend, Doris Craig and Phyllis Fielder, both of
Mishawaka, Ind., Nancy Proctor and Mary Ellen Silva,
both of Arizona; and by three brothers, Patrick Riley and William
Riley, both of South Bend, and Robert Riley of Mishawaka. Mr.
Riley was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Troyer;
and by a brother, John Riley.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
