MISHAWAKA - Maxine E. Rightley, 74, of Mishawaka, IN,
passed away at 11:20 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2008, in Hospice
House. Maxine was born on August 21, 1933, in South Bend, IN, to
Raymond (Jack) and Molly (Wolters) Errings, who
both have preceded her in death.
On September 30, 1950, in South Bend, Maxine
H. Errings married James "Jim" Rightley, who survives
along with their two daughters, Debbie Pritchard and her
husband, Allen of Granger, IN, and Pam Rightley and her husband,
John Hargreaves of Osceola, IN; three grandchildren, Lisa Hundt
and her husband, Chuck, Angela Acrey and her husband,
Darren, and Nicole Nelund; and three great-grandchildren,
Rylie, Hanna and Quinn.
Mother was a loving and strong companion and
wife. She was devoted to her daughters and granddaughters. Her
pride and joy were her great-grandchildren. She was a 10-year
survivor of lung cancer. She was an accomplished entrepreneur
with "Gifts by Maxine," a successful bagel shop in
South Bend, and had been a broker realtor since 1977. Her
strength of character lives on in each of us. She paved the way
with her balance in life, her nurturing, her strength and her
commitment to family. SHE IS OUR HERO!
Family and friends may call on Thursday from
2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel,
3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will be at
10:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, with Rev. Ervin Mize officiating the
services. Burial will follow at St. Joseph P.R.C. Cemetery in
South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to The Center for
