Barbara J. Riggs (May 5, 1972 -- Dec. 21, 2004),

Barbara J. Riggs, 32, of North Ironwood, South Bend, passed away at 4:28 am. Tuesday, Dec. 21, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Barbara was born on May 5, 1972. Barbara was employed at Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center as activities director.

Surviving are her father, George Riggs of Mishawaka, and two brothers, Richard McCormick of Mishawaka and Russell Wild of Elkhart.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen (McMichael) Riggs.

She is also survived by her co-workers and many friends.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where friends may call from 4 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family
